10 years of SpinUOC
SpinUOC 2022, the entrepreneurial and knowledge transfer event of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC), celebrated its tenth edition last spring. Once again, eight entrepreneurial teams took to the stage to present their business ideas, this time with presenters Òscar Dalmau and Agnès Busquets at the helm. And all of this, in the Estrella Damm Factory packed with spectators, plus all those who decided to follow the event from home.
On this occasion, we worked together with the UOC on the conceptualisation, planning, digital promotion, multimedia production and organisation of the event. In addition, as we do every year, we accompanied each entrepreneur in the difficult task of preparing a clear and attractive pitch. We couldn’t be happier and prouder when we look back and see that we have helped more than 80 entrepreneurial teams since we started, in an increasingly distant 2013.
Of course, the celebration called for a big birthday cake, but instead of a flour, egg and sugar-based cake, we enlisted the university’s spin-off, Immersium Studio, to prepare a virtual reality cake. Could there have been a better one?
