Action plan and new website for the PSiNET research group
Information and communication technologies (ICT) are utterly inundating every aspect of our daily lives. Actually, their potential was already expected and, in fact, even the former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan said that they could improve the lives of everyone on the planet. In this sense, the research group PSiNET does its part, since they are studying people’s health promotion and quality of life improvements through ICT.
Integrated in the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and recognized by the Catalan Government as a Consolidated Research Group, PSiNET’s members asked us to rebuild and renew their website, providing it with more content, and also to design an action plan to attract talent, resources and partnerships. In short, it was about gaining visibility. As adepts of new technologies and the research that emphasizes people’s health, it has been a pleasure working with the PSiNET team and we hope these actions will help them achieve their goals.
