Benchmarking employability and entrepreneurship for higher education

Given the growing interest in improving the employability of students in higher education, many universities have put professional services and actions in place to help boost the employment prospects of graduate students.

With the aim of offering continuous, personalised and integrated career guidance services that are in close contact with the job market, the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) created the Vice-Rectorate for Competitiveness and Employability. This was the catalyst behind a study, conducted by Ubik media, into the right strategy to follow.

To tackle this task, we developed a benchmark standard to analyse the services offered by 8 higher education institutions to their students in terms of career guidance, employability and entrepreneurship.
