Design and execution of a digital marketing campaign for Xatkit

In 2021, we collaborated with Xatkit in the design, execution and analysis of a marketing campaign. Xatkit was the winner of the 2021 edition of SpinUOC, the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC)’s entrepreneurial and knowledge transfer event, which we have helped organise for the past ten years. 

The Xatkit team has developed a no-code chatbot solution that lets online retailers build their own IA custom digital shop assistant in less than five minutes. We collaborated with the startup to help during two key marketing phases: pre-sale and sale.

The goal of the pre-sale marketing campaign was to recruit online retail businesses to test out Xatkit and provide feedback to help it improve. We both developed messaging and materials, and contacted and followed up with potential beta-testers (developers and online retailers).

During the sales phase, we created a marketing campaign for the optimised chatbot, now ready to be launched as a product. We designed an action plan based on a sales funnel, with which we aimed to target Xatkit’s two target audiences: web developers and online retailers. 

For the campaigns’ initial promotional materials, we created, optimised and analysed pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns for Google and LinkedIn. In addition, we prepared two chains of emails to follow up with people who had registered their interest in learning more about Xatkit.
