SPINUOC, THE UOC’S ANNUAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER CONFERENCE
In 2013 we were given the task of planning spinUOC, the annual entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer conference organised by the UOC – the Open University of Catalonia. In this event, eight members of the UOC community have five minutes to creatively explain their entrepreneurial or innovative project to an audience of around three hundred people.
Since then, we have been asked to organise the event again every year. We write the script for the event and work together with different artists to come up with new ways to make it entertaining, ensuring that the conference is always innovative. Over the last few years, Spanish TV presenter Óscar Dalmau has brought his savoir faire to present the event. We also help to promote the event, producing a promotional video and publishing actions on specific media platforms.
But, above all, what we are most proud of at Ubik Media is the support we provide to the eight entrepreneurs who take part in the conference. During April, May and June, we offer training on public speaking, communicating with potential investors and transmitting key messages to the press. We will help you to prepare an effective and attractive pitch to win over the audience from the stage at the Estrella Damm Factory, the location where the event is held. We break records every year, both in terms of attendance and requests to participate from entrepreneurs in the UOC community.
