European project ECF4CLIM: strategic communication for climate action

The ECF4CLIM European project was born with an urgent mission: to develop and validate a European Competence Framework (ECF) that empowers the educational community to take action against climate change and move towards sustainable development.

With this goal in mind, all project partners, coordinated by the Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (CIEMAT), designed the ECF4CLIM roadmap through a multidisciplinary and highly participatory process involving educational institutions across Europe. This document identifies the key competences, as well as the factors that enable or hinder the improvement of environmental performance within educational institutions.

In this context, UbiK media contributed to the project’s communication dimension. Specifically, we were responsible for:

  • The strategic review of the communication plan, integrating recommendations from European oversight and complementing it with an updated action plan aligned with the project’s new challenges.

  • Designing a FactSheet, a one-page visual document summarising all key project information to facilitate understanding and dissemination among stakeholders and partner organisations.
  • Designing and developing the project’s official website: www.ecf4clim.eu, an engaging, user-friendly portal that serves as the cornerstone of the project’s communication strategy.

  • Scripting and editing a results video, an audiovisual piece showcasing ECF4CLIM’s progress and achievements, created to capture attention and generate impact across diverse audiences.

At UbiK media, we believe that communication is also a form of transformation. That’s why being part of a project that places education at the heart of climate action not only inspires us, it deeply connects us with its purpose.
