How we positioned and increased the visibility of Fundación b_TEC’s Energy Days Conference

Are we ready to transform the energy model as we know it? What role does the territory play in energy generation, distribution and consumption? How can we ensure that the energy transition leaves no one behind?

These were some of the key questions discussed at the Energy Days Conference organised by Fundación b_TEC, held at the Diagonal-Besòs Campus in late October 2025.

We contributed to the event by defining the visual identity and deploying a positioning and communication strategy to strengthen its visibility and impact.

A space to connect key stakeholders in the sector

The conference was conceived as a space for meeting, reflection and connection among the main actors of the energy transition in Barcelona. The programme included keynote speeches and round tables with leading experts from academia, public administration and industry, as well as a networking space for professionals and institutions in the sector.

A solid, contemporary and adaptable visual identity

The visual identity design was a key element of the project. We aimed to create a strong and modern presence, aligned with the Foundation’s graphic style and flexible enough to be adapted to all formats, both digital and physical.

The result was the following:

Mockups of printed and digital graphic design products: a poster hanging on a wall on the left and a social media post on a mobile phone on the right.

Examples of digital and physical materials where the designed brand identity was applied.

The goal: strengthening visibility and positioning

One of the main objectives was to increase the visibility of the Energy Days Conference and reinforce Fundación b_TEC’s positioning by highlighting its value as a key actor in the debate on sustainability, the promotion of the energy transition and technological innovation in Barcelona.

What did we do?

  • Engaging key stakeholders and partners

We identified and activated more than 150 strategic stakeholders within the ecosystem, including public institutions, research centres, universities, clusters, science and technology parks, companies and media organisations.

To facilitate their involvement, we created a communication toolkit with key messages and visual materials. The response was very positive and confirmed the strong interest in the Foundation’s work and in a debate that directly addresses the present and future of the territory.

The initiative generated 15 high-quality impacts through third-party channels, expanding the reach and connecting with the stakeholders’ communities.

  • LinkedIn strategy: growth and positioning

We implemented a LinkedIn strategy aimed at growing the community, strengthening the Foundation’s positioning and boosting event registrations, combining organic content with paid campaigns.

The results were very positive, especially considering that the channel had been recently activated and was still in a consolidation phase. These actions represented an essential first step in accelerating growth and building the foundations of the community.

A solid foundation for the future

Beyond the metrics, one of the most important achievements we reached together with the Foundation’s team was establishing a solid basis for future communication, outreach and positioning initiatives.

We strengthened the Foundation’s narrative, deepened our understanding of the audience and ecosystem, and activated a potentially committed network of stakeholders — key elements for continuing to generate spaces for dialogue and collaboration around the energy transition in the future.
