ORGANISATION OF THE TECNIOSPRING ALUMNI EVENT
We recently teamed up with ACCIÓ, the Catalan Government Agency for Business Competitiveness, to help organise the first Tecniospring Alumni Event in November 2022. Our role was to conceptualise the dynamics of the event, write scripts for the key speeches, organise interactive activities (including a magic show!), and prepare audiovisual materials to promote the event and the program on social media.
Tecniospring is ACCIÓ’s international talent programme, launched in 2013 to drive the development of cutting-edge R+D+I projects with direct industrial and commercial applications. It provides grants to companies to hire R+D personnel to help develop innovative products. To date, Tecniospring has helped boost the career of almost 200 researchers, as well as strengthening the tech sector in Catalonia and abroad. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant programme.
In celebration of 9 successful years of Tecniospring, the Tecniospring Alumni Event brought together the researchers and companies that have benefitted from the programme to help forge new connections and strengthen existing links between academia and industry.
