Scientific communication workshop in Cambridge for the PhD-PI3K project

On September 20, we organised a workshop on scientific communication for the fellows of the PhD-PI3K project, which is led by IDIBELL and of which UbiK is an associate partner. The session combined theoretical and practical activities in order to provide the young researchers with strategies on how to disseminate the results of their research and how to improve their communicative skills.

The workshop was held at the Babraham Institute (Cambridge, UK), one of the project partners, in the framework of the mid-term meeting and a series of training workshops, including the scientific communication one. The young researchers of this Marie Skłodowska Curie action are meant to be future experts in the PI3K family of enzymes, which has important implications in diseases such as cancer, diabetes and neurodegenerative diseases.
