Support in the organisation of the 1st European Leadership School of the D-Transform project
From 14 to 18 November 2016, Barcelona held the 1st European Leadership School of D-Transform, a project co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme and participated by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Experts from 15 countries attended the meeting, which addressed relevant issues in the digital transformation of learning, such as the needs of millennials, the possibilities of learning analytics and the advantages of e-assessment. Regarding the speakers, the event counted on internationally recognised specialists, like Vijay Kumar (MIT) and Ryan Craig (University Ventures).
Coordinated by the UOC and conceived as a combination of plenary lectures and practical activities, UbiK gave support to the 1st European Leadership School in the conceptualization of the program, the design of participation dynamics and the generation of communication materials. For instance, we edited and designed –in collaboration with Niugràfic– the daily programmes of the sessions, which included complementary information about the speakers and additional resources, as shown in the image heading this post.
Under the motto «Transforming universities for the digital age», D-Transform offers data and resources to highlight the relevant role of ICT in the transformation of universities, as well as to help its managers to implement digital strategies that ensure their proper functioning and its sustainability for the future. It was a pleasure for us to play our part to ensure everything ran smoothly.
