Talent recruitment for the international PhD programme of the Center for Genomic Regulation
During the autumn of 2023, the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG) opened a new call for its international PhD programme, offering 15 fellowships on this edition. With the goal of improving the recruitment of researchers around the globe, they commissioned us a social media campaign on Instagram (IG) and X (Twitter), both platforms where its community of interest is found.
The campaign aimed to improve CRG’s positioning as a center of international excellence in biomedical research and, above all, to increase awareness of its PhD programme and make it stand out from the other existing ones.
Ubik led the campaign strategy, from conceptualization to implementation, including the design of the social media recruitment funnel, the audience segmentation, investment strategy and dissemination plan.
It has been a pleasure to work with a biomedical research center pioneering in Barcelona and Europe, to help them promote its PhD programme and raise awareness around the scientific talent they foster and train.
We approach the projects of attracting young talent, like this one, always with an extra dose of illusion: besides reaching the client’s objectives, we know that our communication action has an impact on the future of researchers and, in this case, of biomedical research.
Some of the campaign publications:
- On X (Twitter): Open doors workshop invitation, carousel to introduce the Principal Investigators (PhD in bioinformatics, PhD in physics, PhD in biology)
- On Instagram: Open doors workshop invitation, carousel to introduce the Principal Investigators (PhD in bioinformatics, PhD in physics, PhD in biology)
